Smoothies are definitely for grown-ups as well. It wasn’t so widely known until just the last few years, even by me, that this phenomenal health drink offered busy mothers and fathers so many affordable opportunities to radically address their health concerns by way of eating and drinking right. I’ve learned
Today I am going to be speaking to you in progressive terms. I honestly believe that not enough time and attention is expended by parents, perhaps even you, in addressing the very important matter of your kids’ health and fitness. My sense of urgency comes by way of personal experience
For once I was able to get up early this morning. Not even Myrtle got to my bedside before my time to arise. She’s good that way, always acting as my alarm clock, if you will, because, truth be told, I am somehow never able to hear the alarm these
It’s hard to believe that I’ve not been out for a decent walk for weeks now. Physically and emotionally, I’m beginning to feel the strain of not doing this. And by a decent walk I do not mean a quick walk downtown to the shops or a walk to my
I would like to see a perfect day when busy and often harassed moms no longer need to tell their growing and bustling kids, both girls and boys, and especially the boys, how to behave. It’s hard enough for me as it is. Trying to get the kids to sit
It’s become a customary and traditional habit among online writers at this time of the year. They’ll be reviewing the highlights and lowlights of the past cataclysmic year. Or they’ll be waxing lyrical about joyful repasts which came and went quicker than you could sneeze. They also love talking about other people, prominent men and women mainly, who made headlines for all the right and wrong reasons. The married couple have a bright daughter of eight, while the divorced man has two spritely children, one nine, the other five. The mother and father’s daughter has never been married and for reasons that cannot be explained here, has chosen to stay single for the rest of her natural life. What can be explained about this extraordinary family will be chronicled in these next few lines.
Whoever said relationships are easy and a walk in the park needs to have his or her mind read and perhaps also head out for that walk again.
But on the other hand, married folks who have been together for unusually long decades simply shrug their shoulders and say it is never easy and polish this off with their own variation of the cliché that married life is tough.
This post is for those who are particularly anxious about life in general. Thanks to high anxiety, these folks also stress in the kitchen, never quite being able to make up their minds what to cook from one day to the next. Cooking and eating-wise, this post is for folks who suffer from chronically high levels of stress and those who have been diagnosed with clinical depression. And this post is for everyone else who generally and unnecessarily worry too much about everything in life.
